RECIPROCITY MAP

  • Question:    What is the cost of the course?

The fee is $125.00.  This includes the course manual, lecture and live fire qualification.

  • Question:    Where is the range located?

MCCT uses a licensed and bonded range located approximately 15-18 minutes from each classroom location.  Maps are available the day of training.

The range is an outdoor facility and training continues through any inclement weather.  Please dress accordingly.

  • Question:    What is the live fire qualification criteria?

The 3' x 2' target is distanced at seven (7) yards.  There will be fifty (50) practice rounds fired prior to the qualification round.  Fifteen (15) of the twenty (20) qualification rounds fired must appear inside the silhouette portion of the target for a qualifying score.

  • Question:    Do I have to qualify with both a semi-automatic and revolver?

You only have to qualify with one.  The law requires you show knowledge of both types of weapons in the areas of unloading, loading and marksmanship.  You do not need to bring both types of weapons to class.  Regardless of what type of weapon you choose to bring, MCCT will provide the opposite type of weapon and ammunition to fulfill requirements of state statute.

  • Question:    Do I have to bring a weapon to the course?

No.  We provide everything you need to complete the course.   We will supply the following at no extra charge.

  1. Handgun

  2. Pistol case

  3. Eye & ear protection

  4. 70 rounds of ammunition for our guns

Note:  Handguns are not allowed inside of the lecture facility.

  • Question:    Can I choose to bring my own gun?

Yes.   We encourage you to shoot whatever you are most comfortable with regardless of caliber.  If you choose to bring your own weapon, you will need to bring 70 rounds of ammunition to complete the course.

  • Question:    Do I have to exclusively carry the weapon I bring to class?

You may carry any concealable weapon that is in your legal possession.  The law states that if you are legal to be in possession of the weapon, it is legal to carry it as your concealed carry weapon.
