The fee is $125.00. This includes the course manual,
lecture and live fire qualification.
MCCT uses a licensed and bonded range
located approximately 15-18 minutes from each classroom location. Maps are
available the day of training.
The range is an outdoor facility and training continues
through any inclement weather. Please dress accordingly.
The 3' x 2' target is distanced at seven (7) yards.
There will be fifty (50) practice rounds fired prior to the
qualification round. Fifteen (15) of the twenty (20) qualification
rounds fired must appear inside the
silhouette portion of the target for a qualifying
score.
You only have to qualify with one. The law requires you
show knowledge of both types of weapons in the areas of unloading, loading and
marksmanship. You do not need to bring both types of weapons to class.
Regardless of what type of weapon you choose to bring, MCCT will
provide the opposite type of weapon and ammunition to fulfill requirements of
state statute.
